Dubai Maritime City’s new road infrastructure development scheme in the Industrial Area
Dubai Maritime City (DMC) has announced a new road infrastructure development scheme in the Industrial Area. The project is expected to start May 2023 and be completed by the end of July 2023. It aims to improve the road network and enhance connectivity in the area, making it easier for businesses and individuals to access the facilities and services available at the Industrial District SR Roundabout.
The project involves the installation of 4,557 m2 of interlock tiles, which are 80mm thick, in the road carriageway, along with 1,105 linear metres of kerbstone. These improvements will provide a durable and safe road surface, reducing the risk of accidents and improving the overall quality of the road network.
The project also includes the completion of balanced stormwater networks, 9 street lights, and road marking and signage. These additional features will improve the safety and usability of the road network, making it easier for businesses and individuals to navigate the area.
The road infrastructure development scheme is part of DMC’s broader strategy to enhance its infrastructure and improve the end-user experience at the Industrial District SR Roundabout. By investing in high-quality and durable road infrastructure, DMC is ensuring that its customers have access to the best possible services, which in turn will help to attract and retain customers and improve the overall reputation of the facility.
The project is expected to be completed within a reasonable time frame, and the completed road network will provide a safe and reliable means of transport for businesses and individuals in the area. The development of the road infrastructure will also contribute to the overall economic growth and development of the region, making it a more attractive destination for businesses and individuals alike.
In conclusion, the new road infrastructure development scheme at the Industrial District SR Roundabout is a significant step towards improving the quality and usability of the road network in the area. The installation of interlock tiles, kerbstone, and stormwater networks will provide a durable and safe road surface, while street lights, road markings, and signage will improve the overall usability and safety of the road network. By investing in high-quality road infrastructure, DMC is demonstrating its commitment to the safety and satisfaction of its customers while contributing to the economic growth and development of the region.
