Dubai Maritime City’s industrial precinct is a sole specialized maritime cluster in the GCC that provides A to Z marine industry needs under one umbrella e.g. ship building, ship repair, yacht manufacturing, marine suppliers, engineering and technical expertise. DMC is an exceptional integrated cluster that covers industry, regulation and infrastructure all together to magnify the role of maritime industry development. It provides an entire infrastructure that includes shiplifts, workshops, warehouses, shops, showrooms and offices.

Sustainable initiatives
In 2021, Etihad Energy Services Company (Etihad ESCO), an energy services company and a subsidiary of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), signed an agreement to retrofit buildings at Dubai Maritime City. The agreement includes installing modern air conditioning, lighting, and thermal insulation solutions in the facilities.
The project is expected to save 729,373 kilowatt-hours annually, which is 20% of the total current consumption of the targeted facilities.
