How does a company set up their operations?
The registration of a business license is managed by Tarakhees and Jafza, which also operates under the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC). Dubai Maritime City advises companies to approach the concerned authority to obtain an initial approval for their business operations when setting up a new business.
Once an initial approval has been received, an entity can approach Dubai Maritime City to learn more about leasing options and complete the leasing process. After this process is completed, the entity is advised to return to the concerned authority with the completed leasing documents to complete the business license process.
